F. R. Scott
Francis Reginald Scott (1899–1985) was a prominent Canadian poet, constitutional lawyer, and political activist. A key figure in Canadian modernism and a member of the 'Montreal Group' of poets, he was also a founding member of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF). He served as Dean of Law at McGill University and was a distinguished constitutional scholar, known for his work on civil liberties and his contributions to Canadian literature and politics.
