William Shatner
William Shatner is a Canadian actor, author, producer and director best known for originating the role of Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek franchise. In addition to a long film and television career, Shatner has co-authored a number of science fiction novels (often with Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens), as well as memoirs and non-fiction works. He is also known for his recording and spoken-word performances and for his public persona as an entertainer and pop-culture figure.
