Chris Austin Hadfield is a retired Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut, engineer, and pilot. He is known for being the first Canadian to command the International Space Station (ISS) and for his extensive use of social media during his time in space. Hadfield has flown three space missions, conducted two spacewalks, and has logged nearly 4,000 hours in space. Before his astronaut career, he served for 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Air Command fighter pilot and test pilot. He is also a bestselling author of several books, including "An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth" and the thriller "The Apollo Murders."
