The Music Shop

It is 1988. On a run-down street in a British town, Frank owns a music shop. He sells only vinyl—no CDs—and has a legendary gift for finding the exact piece of music a customer needs to hear to heal their heart or change their life. Frank's own life is solitary and centered around his records until a woman named Ilse Brauchmann faints outside his shop. Ilse, always dressed in a pea-green coat, asks Frank to teach her about music. As Frank introduces her to the world of sound, he begins to fall in love, but Ilse has secrets that she is not ready to share. Against the backdrop of a changing music industry and the pressure to modernize, Frank must decide if he can finally find the courage to listen to his own heart.
