In the year 2060, Lieutenant Eve Dallas is juggling a grisly double homicide and the impending arrival of her best friend Mavis's baby. Two young lovers, both accountants at a prestigious firm, have been brutally murdered, and Eve suspects they may have stumbled upon something they weren't supposed to see.
