Indulgence in Death

Returning to New York after a long-overdue vacation in Ireland with her husband, Roarke, NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas is immediately plunged into a series of bizarre and grisly murders. The spree begins with a limo driver shot through the neck with a crossbow, followed by a high-priced escort found stabbed through the heart with a bayonet. As more victims emerge—including a celebrity chef killed with a harpoon and a social facilitator strangled with a handmade bullwhip—Eve realizes she is hunting a pair of sophisticated thrill-killers. These murderers have a taste for the finer things in life and death, turning their crimes into a macabre game of cat and mouse. To find justice, Eve must navigate the rarified social circles of the rich and famous—the same world her husband travels in—to track down sociopaths who kill for sport before they claim their next innocent victim.
