Guy Vanderhaeghe

Guy Clarence Vanderhaeghe (born April 5, 1951) is a Canadian novelist and short story writer from Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. He is best known for historical and Western-influenced fiction including The Englishman's Boy, The Last Crossing and Man Descending. Vanderhaeghe has won multiple Governor General's Awards and other national honours, and has served as a visiting professor and writer-in-residence at several Canadian institutions. He lives in Saskatoon.
