Marina Chapman
Marina Chapman is a Colombian-born British woman known for her claim to have spent much of her early childhood in the jungle, surviving among and solely around a group of capuchin monkeys. After being abducted and abandoned in the Colombian rainforest around the age of four, she spent approximately five years living with monkeys. She was later discovered by hunters and sold into slavery, eventually escaping to live on the streets before being adopted by a Colombian family who brought her to England. She now lives in Bradford, England, is married, has two daughters, and works in a children's nursery. She has also worked as a chef and dedicated her life to helping less fortunate people, planning to donate profits from her book to charities combating human trafficking and child slavery in Colombia. Her story was co-written with her daughter Vanessa James and published as "The Girl With No Name."
