Paul C. R. Monk is an author and scriptwriter who grew up in the south east of England and has lived in France and Spain. A trained linguist and former teacher, he transitioned into writing scripts for video games, earning a Writers Guild of America Award nomination. He is best known for his historical fiction, including 'The Huguenot Chronicles' trilogy, which explores the experiences of a merchant family during the revocation of religious tolerance in Louis XIV's France.
