Philip K. Allan
Philip K. Allan is a British author known for his meticulously researched historical naval fiction, most notably the Alexander Clay series. Before becoming a full-time writer, he spent most of his career as a senior manager in the motor industry. He holds a history degree from London University, where he developed a lifelong passion for the 18th-century Royal Navy. He is a member of the Society for Nautical Research and a keen sailor, and he lives in Hertfordshire, UK, with his wife and two daughters.
