Luke McCallin is a British author known for his historical mystery novels, particularly the Gregor Reinhardt series. Born in Oxford in 1972, he grew up in Africa and was educated in various countries. He has worked with the United Nations as a humanitarian relief worker and peacekeeper in the Caucasus, the Sahel, and the Balkans, experiences which heavily influence his writing. He holds a master's degree in political science and currently resides in the Jura Mountains of France.
