Diane Mavis Schoemperlen is a Canadian novelist, short story writer, and editor known for her experimental approach to narrative form and her use of mixed media, such as collage, in her work. Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, she has published numerous collections of short fiction and novels, including the Governor General's Award-winning 'Forms of Devotion'. Her work often explores themes of faith, contemporary women's lives, and the relationship between truth and fiction.
