Hans Conzelmann

Hans Conzelmann (27 October 1915 – 20 June 1989) was a German Protestant theologian and New Testament scholar. He studied at Tübingen and Marburg and earned his doctorate at Heidelberg. Conzelmann served as a professor of New Testament studies and is best known for his work on Luke–Acts and for the influential book Die Mitte der Zeit (The Theology of St. Luke), contributing to discussions on salvation history (Heilsgeschichte) in mid-20th-century biblical scholarship.
