William Ruhlmann

William Ruhlmann (born May 13, 1955) is an American music writer and critic best known for artist biographies and compact illustrated histories of popular music acts. He served as popular music critic for the New York City Tribune (1983–1991) and has contributed artist biographies and album reviews to AllMusic and various music publications. His books include a 1993 illustrated history of Pink Floyd.
