David Servan-Schreiber

David Servan-Schreiber (1961–2011) was a French physician, psychiatrist and cognitive neuroscientist who became a well-known author and advocate for integrative approaches to mental health and cancer prevention. He co-founded the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, published numerous scientific articles, and wrote several international bestsellers including The Instinct to Heal and Anticancer: A New Way of Life. He publicly disclosed his own long battle with brain cancer and promoted lifestyle-based strategies to support health.
