Adrian Tchaikovsky (born Adrian Czajkowski) is a British fantasy and science fiction author best known for the Shadows of the Apt series and the Hugo- and award-winning Children of Time sequence. Trained in zoology and psychology, he worked as a legal executive before becoming a full-time writer; his work often explores animal behaviour, cognition, and large-scale worldbuilding across epic fantasy and science fiction settings.
