Anthony Horowitz
Anthony Horowitz (born 5 April 1955) is a British novelist and screenwriter best known for his bestselling Alex Rider young-adult spy series and for contemporary crime novels such as Magpie Murders and The Word Is Murder. He has written original Holmes and Bond novels, created television dramas (including Foyle's War and Midsomer Murders), and regularly contributes journalism and non-fiction. He was appointed OBE for services to literature and television.
