Douglas Reeman

Douglas Edward Reeman (15 October 1924 – 23 January 2017) was a British novelist best known for his naval and wartime fiction. He served in the Royal Navy during World War II (in destroyers and motor torpedo boats) and later in the Royal Naval Reserve, and drew on that experience in many novels. He also wrote the popular Napoleonic-era Bolitho series under the pseudonym Alexander Kent. Reeman published dozens of novels and sold millions of copies worldwide.
