The Opposite of Dark

Transit security officer Casey Holland thought she had buried her father, Marcus Holland, three years ago. Her certainty is shattered when the police inform her that her father was murdered the previous night. Desperate to understand the truth about her past and the man she buried, Casey begins to ask questions about her father and a mysterious house in West Van, which puts her life and the lives of those she loves in danger. Her quest for answers takes her to England, Europe, and Vancouver Island, where she uncovers a scheme her father was involved in, and faces a man who believes Marcus stole three million dollars from him and is convinced Casey can find the money. He won't stop until he either has the cash or she and those she loves die.
