The Uplift War

Hostile aliens, the Gubru avian race, invade and seize the Earth colony on the planet Garth, a 'salvage world' being reclaimed by human and neo-chimpanzee colonists. The Gubru take the defenseless colony hostage in an attempt to coerce Earthclan into revealing the secret of the Progenitors, which was discovered in the events of *Startide Rising*. With Earth itself under attack and no relief in sight, the human and Uplifted allies must band together, improvise, and utilize guerrilla warfare tactics against their alien conquerors to ensure their survival and the fate of Terran society.
