Last of the Gaderene

The aerodrome in the idyllic village of Culverton has new owners who promise an era of prosperity. But former Spitfire pilot Alex Whistler is suspicious when black-shirted troops begin to appear on the streets, leading him to contact his old friend Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart at U.N.I.T. The Third Doctor and his companion Jo are sent to investigate and soon discover that the village is hiding dark secrets. They must uncover the sinister plot behind the mysterious Legion International and the monstrous creature growing in the marsh before the last of the alien Gaderene arrive to colonise the Earth, in an adventure that also features the return of the Doctor's arch-enemy, the Master.
