The Winds of Autumn

The Winds of Autumn is the sequel to Once Upon a Summer, following the life of Josh Jones as he grows into young manhood. Though he realizes his family life with Aunt Lou and the menfolk is nontraditional, it is the only life he has ever known. On the brink of manhood, Josh's world is filled with his studies and occasional fishing trips. When a new teacher arrives, Josh thrives under his encouragement, but he also begins to face important questions about life, love, and faith. The new schoolteacher's pretty daughter, Camellia, stirs new feelings in him, leading to a love triangle and rivalry with another boy, Jack Berry, who also vies for her affection.
