Love's Long Journey

Missie and Willie LaHaye embark on a challenging journey west in a covered wagon, leaving behind the prairie home of her parents, Clark and Marty Davis. They face the harsh realities of the trail, including rain, mud, impassable rivers, and even death, forcing them to become rugged pioneers. Missie must confront homesickness, boredom, and deprivation, while striving to live her faith through the hardships. Upon reaching their new home near Tettsford Junction, she is pushed to the limits of her endurance, especially as she is pregnant and must rely on her faith and strength to survive a bewildering surprise on the frontier.
