Conclave A Novel

The Pope is dead. Behind the locked doors of the Sistine Chapel, one hundred and eighteen cardinals from all over the globe will cast their votes in the world's most secretive election. They are holy men, but they are not immune to ambition and rivalries. Over the next seventy-two hours, one of them will become the most powerful spiritual figure on Earth. The story is primarily seen through the eyes of Cardinal Lomeli, Dean of the College of Cardinals, who is responsible for overseeing the Conclave and must navigate the human temptations, political factionalism, hidden truths, and an unexpected cardinal that threaten to disrupt the process and cast a shadow over the Church.
