Hugless Douglas, the lovable bear, is looking for someone to call his best friend in this fourth adventure of the popular series. On his search, he helps his friend Flossie the sheep find her lost 'best friend', Little Sheep. As he continues his quest, he passes other animal pairs, making him feel a bit sad because everyone else seems to have a singular best friend except for him. He sits down to think, but is interrupted by a rustling sound, which turns out to be all his friends who have come to find him. Douglas realizes that all his friends are best friends together, learning a lovely lesson about the nature of friendship.
