The Tailor of Panama

Harry Pendel is the charismatic proprietor of Pendel and Braithwaite, the most exclusive tailor shop in Panama, where he serves the city's political elite. In reality, Harry is an ex-convict with a hidden past. Recruited by the British Secret Service to act as an informant regarding the transition of the Panama Canal, Harry finds himself in over his head. To appease his handler, the reckless and manipulative spy Andrew Osnard, Harry begins to fabricate intelligence. He weaves a complex web of lies that inadvertently escalates into a dangerous international crisis, demonstrating how easily the desire for information can lead to catastrophic consequences in the world of espionage.
