Dead Like You

In 1997, a young woman is raped while returning home from a New Year's Eve party, and her expensive designer shoes are taken as a trophy. The perpetrator, dubbed 'The Shoe Man' by the press, is never caught. Over a decade later, Detective Superintendent Roy Grace is called to a crime scene at a Brighton hotel where a woman has been sexually assaulted and her shoes are missing. As the parallels between the old cold case and the new attack become undeniable, Grace realizes he may be hunting the same predator who has emerged from the shadows. With the 'Shoe Man' seemingly back in action and striking with increasing frequency, Grace must delve into the past to uncover the identity of a man who has managed to stay hidden for years, all while the mystery of his own missing wife, Sandy, continues to haunt him.
