Game Warden Joe Pickett's pursuit of a killer through the rugged mountains of Wyoming takes a horrifying turn when his beloved foster daughter is kidnapped. Deep in the forest, on the edge of Battle Mountain, Joe finds a man named Lamar Gardiner's arrow-riddled corpse amid a raging winter storm. Lamar's murder and the sudden snowstorm warn Joe to leave the mountain, but he knows the episode is far from over.
