Rebecca Wells (born February 3, 1953) is an American novelist, playwright and actress best known for the Ya-Ya Sisterhood series, including Little Altars Everywhere and the bestselling Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, which was adapted as a feature film in 2002. Her work often explores mother-daughter relationships, female friendship, Southern life and family legacy. She has also written and performed in stage pieces and teaches/lectures on writing and performance.
