V. C. Andrews

Cleo Virginia Andrews (June 6, 1923 – December 19, 1986), known professionally as V. C. Andrews, was an American novelist best known for the Dollanganger series beginning with Flowers in the Attic (1979). Her work combined gothic horror and family-saga themes, often featuring young protagonists and sensational family secrets. After her death, a ghostwriter continued to publish novels under her name.
