Dewey Lambdin
Dewey Whitley Lambdin II (January 26, 1945 – July 26, 2021) was an American nautical historical novelist best known for the Alan Lewrie naval adventure series, which follows the career of Royal Navy officer Alan Lewrie through the American Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars. Lambdin graduated with a degree in Film & TV Production from Montana State University (1969) and worked in television and advertising before publishing his first Lewrie novel, The King's Coat (1989).
