Steve Berry is a New York Times and internationally bestselling author known for his historical thrillers, often featuring protagonist Cotton Malone. His novels blend historical mysteries with modern-day adventures, incorporating elements of secrets, ancient puzzles, and exciting chases. Before becoming a full-time writer, Berry practiced law for 30 years and held elected office for 14 years. He is a founding member of International Thriller Writers and has received numerous awards for his writing and his work in historic preservation.
