Charles Belfoure

Charles Belfoure is an American author, architect, and historian specializing in historic preservation. Born in 1954, he grew up in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from the Pratt Institute with a Bachelor in Architecture and from Columbia University with a Master of Science in Real Estate Development. Before focusing on his career as a novelist, he worked as an architect and consultant in historic preservation and taught at the Pratt Institute and Goucher College. He is known for incorporating his architectural expertise into his historical fiction novels.
