Peter Straub
Peter Francis Straub (March 2, 1943 – September 4, 2022) was an American novelist and poet best known for his work in horror and supernatural fiction. His notable novels include Ghost Story, The Talisman (co‑written with Stephen King), Julia, Koko and Black House. Over a career spanning several decades he won multiple Bram Stoker and World Fantasy Awards and was celebrated for blending literary sensibility with genre storytelling.
