Kirsty Manning is an Australian author known for her historical novels. She grew up in northern New South Wales and holds degrees in literature and communications. Manning worked in book publishing for over a decade before becoming a full-time writer. Her travels have taken her through Europe, the United States, and Asia. She is also a freelance journalist and photographer, and co-owns award-winning wine bars in Melbourne and Sydney. Manning's work often explores forgotten corners of history and features strong female characters.
