Meg Wolitzer

Meg Wolitzer (born May 28, 1959) is an American novelist and teacher known for her perceptive, character-driven literary fiction about contemporary life and family relationships. Her notable novels include The Wife, The Ten-Year Nap, The Interestings, and The Female Persuasion. She has also written for younger readers and has taught creative writing at institutions including the Iowa Writers' Workshop and Stony Brook Southampton.
