Mary McGarry Morris
Mary McGarry Morris is an American novelist, short story author, and playwright known for her character-driven narratives set in New England. Born in Connecticut and raised in Vermont, she worked as a social worker before achieving literary acclaim with her debut novel, Vanished (1988). Her work often explores themes of moral ambiguity, family dysfunction, and the inner lives of ordinary people.
