Demi
Demi (born Charlotte Dumaresq Hunt on September 2, 1942) is an award-winning children's book author and illustrator. She is known for her picture-book biographies of spiritual leaders and historical figures, as well as for her retellings of folktales. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades, and her books have sold millions of copies worldwide. Demi studied art in Mexico, the United States, and India, where she was a Fulbright scholar. She is a practicing Buddhist.
