Julio César Pérez Hernández
Julio César Pérez Hernández is an Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Notre Dame's School of Architecture, where he has taught since 2017. He is a world-class expert in Cuban architecture and urbanism. Pérez Hernández is also the founding Principal and Creative Director of Caesar Studio | Architects & Planners, an international practice focused on architecture, urban planning, and urban design. He has designed and built award-winning projects in the United States, Cuba, Spain, and Panama. He is the author of several books, including 'Inside Cuba' and 'Inside Havana,' and has penned numerous professional articles for international journals. He was a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University and the 2012-2013 Wilbur Marvin Visiting Scholar.
