Alan Zweibel is a five-time Emmy and Tony Award-winning comedy writer, author, television writer, playwright, and screenwriter. He was one of the original writers for Saturday Night Live and co-created "It's Garry Shandling's Show." He has also served as a consulting producer for "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Zweibel won the Thurber Prize for American Humor for "The Other Shulman: A Novel," and his 2020 memoir, "Laugh Lines: My Life Helping Funny People Be Funnier," was named a "Best New Book" by People magazine. He has written 11 books, including "Bunny Bunny: Gilda Radner – A Sort of Love Story," "Our Tree Named Steve," and "Lunatics" with Dave Barry. His work has also been adapted for the stage and screen, including the film "Here Today," which he co-wrote with Billy Crystal.
