George Burns

George Burns was an American comedian, actor, writer, and singer whose career spanned vaudeville, radio, film, and television. Known for his trademark cigar and arched eyebrow, he achieved widespread fame as part of the comedy duo Burns and Allen with his wife, Gracie Allen. After Allen's death, Burns continued a successful solo career, winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in 'The Sunshine Boys.' He authored several bestselling books and remained a beloved figure in entertainment until his death at age 100.
