Leonard Shlain
Leonard Shlain (1937–2009) was an American surgeon, author, and inventor. He served as the chairperson of laparoscopic surgery at the California Pacific Medical Center and was an associate professor of surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Beyond his medical career, he was a best-selling author known for his interdisciplinary works that explored the connections between art, science, anthropology, and human evolution.
