Stephen L. Harris

Stephen L. Harris (1937–2019) was an American scholar and professor emeritus of Humanities and Religious Studies at California State University, Sacramento. He authored and coauthored numerous textbooks and popular books on classical mythology, the Bible, and geology, and served as department chair for ten years. His publications include Classical Mythology: Images and Insights (with Gloria Platzner) and several works on volcanoes and natural disasters.
