Joseph Monninger

Joseph Monninger was an American author and professor of English at Plymouth State University. He published over 30 books, including novels for adults and young readers, as well as works of nonfiction and memoirs. A two-time recipient of National Endowment for the Arts fellowships, he was known for his writing on nature, love, and the human experience. In his later years, he wrote about his journey with terminal lung cancer in the memoir 'Goodbye to Clocks Ticking'.
