Amy Krouse Rosenthal was a prolific American author known for her children's picture books, memoirs, and short films. She was also a radio show host and a frequent contributor to TED Talks. She gained widespread recognition for her poignant 'Modern Love' essay in The New York Times, 'You May Want to Marry My Husband,' published shortly before her death from ovarian cancer in 2017.
