Mardi McConnochie

Mardi McConnochie is an Australian author, playwright, and screenwriter. Born in Armidale, New South Wales, and raised in Adelaide, she holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Sydney. Her work often explores themes of celebrity, art, and the experiences of women. She is the author of several novels, including 'Coldwater', 'The Snow Queen', 'Fivestar', and the 'Quest of the Sunfish' series for younger readers. She has also written extensively for television, with credits including 'Home and Away' and 'McLeod's Daughters'.
