Lauren A. Mills

Lauren A. Mills is an award-winning author, illustrator, sculptor, and painter. She is best known for her children's books, including 'The Rag Coat', which has remained in print since 1991 and won numerous awards, including the Charlotte Award. Her work is heavily influenced by 19th-century artists, particularly the Pre-Raphaelites. She has taught in the MFA Illustration Program at the Hartford Art School and has exhibited her art in galleries and museums across the United States.
