Gary Jennings

Gary Jennings (1928–1999) was an American author known for his meticulously researched, epic historical fiction novels, most notably the international bestseller 'Aztec' (1980). Before dedicating himself to writing full-time, he worked in advertising and as a newspaper reporter, and served as a war correspondent during the Korean War. His novels are characterized by their vivid historical detail, picaresque narratives, and occasionally graphic content.
