Gaynor Arnold is a Welsh-born author and former social worker. She studied English Literature at St. Hilda's College, Oxford. She came to writing later in life, publishing her debut novel, Girl in a Blue Dress, in 2008, which was inspired by the life of Catherine Dickens, the wife of Charles Dickens. Her work often explores historical figures and themes through a fictional lens, frequently categorized as neo-Victorian fiction.
