Dana Meachen Rau

Dana Meachen Rau is a prolific American author, artist, and editor who has published over 350 books for children, ranging from picture books and early readers to nonfiction and biographies for preschool to high school levels. She previously worked as a children's book editor before focusing on her writing career. She holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and Art History from Trinity College and an M.F.A. in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She also teaches writing and art classes.
